Whom does Dusker serve?

Dusker's members are typically individuals and small business owners. If you have a medium-sized business, you're not out of the running, but we'll need lots of details to see if we can assist you. We typically cater to American businesses, but if your available time matches our available times, we'll happily help

What are your business hours?

To keep our prices reasonable, we work by appointment only. Typically, we work after 5pm on weekdays, and weekends vary. See our current schedule here

Do you do in-person visits?

We mainly work remotely, but we can arrange local in-person visits for special circumstances. These visits will incur additional charges to cover time and travel expenses

Why display your prices?

Even though competitors may shadily undercut us to lure you away, we would rather be upfront with you. We believe you should be able to plan your spending for your financial well-being. Plus, we don't want to waste your time seeking bids – we hate doing it ourselves!

How do you bill?

We bill in quarter-hour increments. Some companies bill in hourly increments, which means you pay the same amount regardless of time taken to finish a job. With our model, you save money. That's business integrity at its finest

What's the subscription for?

Dusker is an exclusive provider that serves its members. Your membership covers our operational expenses and allows us to continue serving you at such friendly service prices

Can Dusker manage my IT?

No, but we can find someone who can. Dusker is meant to consult you on the path to a solution, not manage your solutions. We can do some things a managed service provider (MSP) might, but it's not our true role

Can you tell my IT person they're wrong?

Sorry, that's not our model. Dusker advises you, our member. We can talk with your IT person, demystify tech, and even convey explanations between you and your MSP. But at the root, we provide consultations, not scorn and termination notices

What sort of customizations can Dusker provide?

Dusker specializes in computer matching and building, but we've also done virtual network, network storage, and custom mobile device setups. We've made our own server cases, created digital renderings of furniture, crafted websites, and can do even more. If you have an idea, bring it to us

Do you have any discounts?

We do! See our referral discount and our review discount

We do not actively hold any of your technical data unless you want us to. We only hold the financial data necessary for membership, depending on your payment method, and personal data, such as your name, phone number, and email address, to address you personally

Dusker does not need to comply with CCPA & CPRA (and various other states') legislation but respects your right to privacy enough to comply with your wishes as long as you make them clearly known to us

Even though we don't currently pay the annual fee for BBB accreditation, we follow the BBB's Accreditation Standards to the best of our ability

Our website is hosted by Google and only collects whatever information you allow it to and the data listed here

While we acknowledge other standards, such as NIST, CISA, and ISO 27001, Dusker focuses on CIS cyber security standards and primarily follows its benchmarks.

Dusker uses cyber-secure practices, taking its account security seriously and implementing safeguards

Dusker's internal infrastructure relies heavily on Google and Zoho, lightweight applications, secure procedures, and low-cost or free services and applications to practice what we advise

After expenses, Dusker nets very little profit, and much of that is put into company growth

Dusker is led by founder, Mr. Zeko [ZEE-ko] or Zeko, as he was affectionately known during his teaching days, who has a Master's degree, a teaching credential, and 10+ years as an IT admin. He enjoys hockey, volleyball, complex games, hiking mountains, and woodworking

We plan on keeping the company private and small enough to be warm and welcoming
